My lifelong passion for cooking began in my Midwestern family kitchen and was deepened by years spent in Alaska, where I learned to forage and utilize seasonal ingredients. My lifelong passion for cooking began in my Midwestern family kitchen and was deepened by years spent in Alaska, where I learned to forage and utilize seasonal ingredients. My palate was then honed by extensive travel in the travel industry, which allowed me to sample and master diverse global cuisines. After formalizing my skills at culinary school in 2011 and working with top chefs in Sonoma's wine country, I launched Stillwater Catering in 2015
